Job Summary
CNC/Manual Saw Operator
Were seeking a reliable Saw Operator to join our team cutting material to precise specifications in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate both CNC and manual saws (vertical & horizontal style)
- Load saw with material using overhead crane or by hand
- Handle various material types including tubing bar stock hot rolled and cold drawn material and round stock
- Cut material to proper length according to prints and cut sheets
- Verify cut accuracy and dimensions against specifications
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work area
- Communicate any material or equipment issues to supervision in a timely manner
Requirements
- Prior experience operating CNC and/or manual saws preferred
- Comfortable loading materials by crane and by hand
- Ability to read prints and cut sheets accurately
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy material as needed
- Reliable and able to work independently
Schedule
- Day shift: 5:30 AM 4:00 PM Monday Friday with occasional Saturdays required
