CNC Turning Operator 1st shift

Regal Rexnord Cleveland home of our Nook Brand is currently seeking an experienced 1st shift CNC Turning Machinist.

Pay Range of $28.50/hour to $32.50/hour based on experience with overtime opportunities.

As a CNC Turning Machinist your mission is to produce quality machined components by setting up and operating CNC equipment while maintaining safety quality and production standards.

• CNC Machine Setup & Operation Set up and operate CNC lathe machinery while adhering to production standards and ISO 9001 guidelines.
• Blueprint & Process Interpretation Interpret drawings specifications process sheets program readouts shop orders route sheets diagrams and instructions to plan work and determine proper operation sequences.
• Tooling & Machine Adjustments Obtain tooling from the tool crib select holders mount and secure tooling verify tool accuracy and perform the calculations necessary to make offsets and tool compensation adjustments.
• Precision Inspection Inspect parts to print identify defects and deburr components as necessary using measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers.

Education & Experience Requirements

• 3 years of CNC machining experience including setup and operation of CNC turning equipment.
• Effective communicator who follows written and verbal directions and contributes well to a team environment.
• High school diploma or GED; strong math and blueprintreading skills.
• Ability to read and utilize measuring equipment including micrometers calipers and other basic measuring devices.
• Working knowledge of surface footage feed rates and calculating feeds and speeds.
• Technical Certificate or one-year program from a college or technical school preferred.
