Job Summary
We are looking for a CNC Lathe Machinist to join our Avalign Integrated Medical team located in Mentor OH on a1st shift schedule. The CNC Lathe Machinist operates conventional special purposes and numerical control (CNC) machines and machining centers to fabricate parts according to customer Youll Do:Independently set up operate and troubleshoot Star CNC Swiss machines to produce precision medical machine offsets tool changes and adjustments as needed to maintain tight and interpret blueprints setup sheets and work instructions to ensure parts meet customer precision measuring instruments such as micrometers calipers and optical comparators to inspect machined routine maintenance and daily preventative maintenance (P.M.) on production activities including first-piece inspection logs maintenance records and work strict quality control procedures including ID & traceability with engineering and quality teams to optimize machining a clean safe and organized work environment in accordance with 5S Youll Need:High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification a plus).Min 3 year of operating and setting up CNC Lathe machinesMin 1 year of experience reading 1 year of GD&T experience measuring tolerances using micrometers calipers and gaugesStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
