Job Summary
How Will You Make an Impact
As a CNC Operator III at our Grand Junction CO facility you will operate various CNC machine tools including multi-axis mills or lathes.
Location: On-site at our Grand Junction CO facility
Shift: Friday - Sunday 6:00 AM 6:30 PM
What Will You Do
- Safely perform all tasks.
- Operate CNC mills and lathes.
- Utilize inspection equipment to check accuracy of work in accordance with blueprint specifications.
- Complete all job-related paperwork accurately per requirements .
- Work from JIS and set-up instructions to run production orders on multiple machines.
- Change out worn tools as necessary such as endmills inserts drills etc.
- Maintain equipment and work area on a daily basis in a clean and orderly condition.
- Follow prescribed work rules and standard safety regulations at all times.
- Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.
- Coordinate with supervisor and other team members to meet production schedule demands.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge Skills & Abilities
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
- Basic shop math skills.
- Familiarity with CNC operation.
- Ability to read job instructions and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills verbal and written.
- Physical ability to operate machines including bending stretching squatting and climingb to access all parts of the machine.
- Prolonged periods of standing walking bending and stretching.
- Must be able to lift 35 pounds at a time.
- Must be able to work in noisy environments (at times).
Education & Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Secondary School Technical Certificate or Degree preferred.
- Manual machining experience a plus.
This position requires use of information which is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). To conform to U.S. Government export regulations/ITAR applicant must be a U.S. citizen lawful permanent resident of the U.S. protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
