Job Summary

CNC Machinist (Temp-to-Hire)
Location:Houston TX 77082 (Energy Corridor)
Shift: Day and Night Shift Available
Pay:Starting at $20/ hour DOE
Job Description:

Reads blueprint or job order for product and job specifications such as dimensions tolerances number of parts to be run tooling instructions or other written specifications.
Sets up machine observes operation and inspects first run and sample work pieces to ensure machining conforms to specifications.
Determines processing specifications such as materials location of cutting lines dimensions tolerances and operational sequences.
Examines finished work pieces and verifies conformance to quality standards
Mark identification material before or after processing store material for additional processing and/or shipping
Accurately completes work order paperwork/documentation
Performs routine and preventative machine maintenance and inspections as
Assists other machine operators to set up machine and stack mark pack and transport finished work pieces.
Ability to performprogram editing (speed feed tools etc.) is a plus.
Experience with Fanuc 18i control Okuma OSP and Mazak
1-2 years CNC experience
Basic math skills
Must pass background and drugscreen
Must have steel toes metatarsal guards and safety glasses
