CNC Operator

Pay: $16 to $18

Core Responsibilities

Setup & Calibration: Translate blueprints CAD designs and work orders to calculate dimensions and set up the correct cutting tools attachments and raw materials.
Programming: Load or write instructions (often via G-code) into the CNC machine and conduct initial test runs to ensure accuracy before mass production.
Machine Operation:Load and unload workpieces supervise the active machining process and make real-time adjustments to offsets and feeds to maintain tight tolerances.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (e.g. calipers micrometers) to verify they meet quality standards.
- Maintenance & Safety: Perform light daily preventative maintenance on machinery and keep a strictly enforced clean and safe work environment.
