What Youll Do

As an Entry-Level Tooling Machinist youll work alongside experienced machinists and toolmakers while developing valuable technical skills.

Youll have the opportunity to:

• Learn how to sharpen and maintain tooling components using precision grinding equipment
• Assist with machining operations including drilling milling turning and CNC machining
• Help build repair and maintain molds and tooling used in manufacturing
• Learn CNC machine setup and make basic program adjustments
• Read and interpret prints measurements and specifications
• Maintain quality standards and follow safe work practices
• Keep tools equipment and work areas organized and ready for use
• Collaborate with tooling engineering and production teams to solve problems and improve processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical coursework certification or degree in Machining Manufacturing Tool & Die Machine Tool Technology or a related field
• Previous experience in a machine shop manufacturing environment internship or technical program
• Familiarity with basic machining tools and measuring equipment
