Schedule: MondayFriday 7:00 AM4:00 PM (Flexible within shift)

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer / Machinist to join a precision manufacturing team in Leominster this direct hire role you will program set up and operate HAAS CNC milling and/or turning machines as well as perform manual machining to produce and refurbish high-precision components. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on machining experience the ability to interpret engineering drawings and a commitment to quality safety and on-time production.

Key Responsibilities

• Program set up and operate HAAS CNC mills and/or lathes
• Create edit load and troubleshoot CNC programs using G-code and HAAS controls
• Interpret blueprints engineering drawings CAD models and GD&T specifications
• Select tooling fixtures speeds and feeds for optimal machining performance
• Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks using precision measuring tools
• Operate manual machining equipment (mills lathes grinders drill presses etc.)
• Ensure parts meet tight tolerances and quality standards
• Track production progress and communicate status with the team
• Maintain safe machine operation and follow all shop safety procedures
• Cross-train in related machining and assembly functions as needed

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment
• Hands-on experience with HAAS CNC machines and G-code programming
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD models
• Experience with manual machining (Bridgeport lathes grinders drill press etc.)
• Skilled in selecting tooling fixtures and machining parameters
• Proficient with precision measuring instruments (calipers micrometers gauges etc.)
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Preferred Experience
Background in precision manufacturing industries such as aerospace medical devices automotive or job shop/contract machining.

Work Location Notes
On-site role in Leominster MA. Candidates should be able to commute within the local Central/North Central Massachusetts region (including Fitchburg Gardner Lunenburg Lancaster Sterling Westminster Clinton and Worcester areas).
