CNC Machinist

Job Summary:

ï Set up operate and troubleshoot CNC lathes machining centers and manual equipment

ï Read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and job specifications to ensure accurate production

ï Edit and adjust CNC programs as needed to maintain tight tolerances (within thousandths of an inch)

ï Perform precision measurements using tools such as micrometers calipers and gauges

ï Monitor production runs and make machine adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency

ï Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process enhancements

ï Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment

ï Collaborate across teams to ensure production schedules and customer demands are met

ï Complete additional duties as assigned

Essential Functions / Competency:

Keys for Success

ï High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in machining preferred

ï Proven experience operating CNC machines (lathes mills or machining centers)

ï Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T (preferred)

ï Experience with CNC program editing and offsets strongly preferred

ï Proficiency using precision measuring instruments

ï Basic computer skills for data entry and production tracking

ï Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Physical Demands:

ï Ability to stand for extended periods on concrete surfaces

ï Regularly lift carry push or pull materials up to 50 lbs; up to 100 lbs with assistive equipment

ï Frequent bending lifting and material handling

ï Ability to meet production pace and quality expectations

ï Reliable attendance required; overtime may be needed based on business demands

Additional Job Information:

• Wage Expectations: $25.00 to $32.00 per hour
• Pay: This is a non-exempt hourly position and employees are paid on a bi-weekly basis
• Typical Schedule: Four (4) Ten (10) hour days M-F Overtime may be available on your 5th day of the week and/or Saturdays
• Location: On Site 52182 Ember Road Lake Crystal MN 56055
• Travel: Very minimal to none
