Job Summary:
The Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating conventional and CNC machining equipment to manufacture precision metal and non-metal components according to engineering drawings specifications and quality standards. This position plays a critical role in producing high-quality parts while maintaining safety efficiency and accuracy throughout the manufacturing process.

Precision Measuring Instruments and Inspection Equipment
Key Responsibilities:
Review blueprints sketches drawings and work instructions to determine machining requirements and part specifications.
Set up and operate conventional and CNC machines to manufacture parts according to specifications.
Select and install appropriate tooling fixtures and materials for production runs.
Adjust machine controls speeds feeds and cutting depths to ensure quality and efficiency.
Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as necessary to maintain product quality.
Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications.
Conduct test runs and troubleshoot machining issues to ensure proper machine performance.
Replace and install machine components and verify proper operation following maintenance or repairs.
Collaborate with engineers programmers supervisors and production personnel to resolve manufacturing challenges and improve processes.
Maintain a safe clean and organized work area.
Follow all quality standards related to our Quality Management System (QMS) ISO requirements and safety procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education/Training:
GED or High School diploma
Previous CNC machining manual machining manufacturing technical training or related experience preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints engineering drawings and specifications.
Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers micrometers and gauges preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude attention to detail and commitment to quality.
