Position Summary: We are offering a $3000 Sign on Bonus

What you will be doing:

With this attractive opportunity you will get a chance to:

• Assemble sub-systems and cubic engine components using various tools gauges devices Loctite liquid nitrogen lubricants and specialized equipment.

• Operate CNC HELLER machining centers with Siemens 840D controllers according to instructions routings control plans production requirements and diagrams.

• Read study and interpret blueprints machining/assembly instructions specifications manuals job orders routings and control plans to determine sequences of operations setups and requirements.

• Compile workpieces components and materials per specifications; inspect document and report defects.

• Select appropriate materials and tooling required for machining and assembly of cubic engine components.

• Position and align components for assembly into larger mounting elements and verify part clearances.

• Perform leak testing and functional testing of parts and assemblies using multiple processes and technologies.

Position Qualifications:

• 2 years in a mechanical maintenance or machining trade school OR

• Equivalent associates degree;OR

• 5 years of experience in a heavy-duty machining environment.

• Shift:(Day Working Shift) - Monday-Thursday 5:45am-4:15pm.

• Ability to work any shift and overtime as required.

Preferred qualifications:

• Intermediate knowledge of CNC-controls (preferred SIEMENS 840 D Controllers) machines and tools including their designs uses repair and maintenance

• Intermediate ability to interpret Statistical Process Control (SPC) and operate scanning devices for system communications

• Intermediate knowledge of manufacturing and production processes raw materials quality control costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods (Quality Alerts Second Checksetc.)

• Intermediate knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and the ability to use relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws regulations orstandards

• Intermediate troubleshooting and problem-solving skills where problems are complex

• Experience as a CNC milling operator and with SIEMANS 840D Control SystemKnowledge of MTU products policies and procedures.
