3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (2nd Shift)

11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (3rd Shift)

Must train on 1st shift

Position Overview

Join a premier manufacturer that has been making high-quality cutting tools for over 100 years. Their tools are used worldwide to make parts for airplanes cars and medical equipment.

In this role you will write computer programs and set up high-tech CNC Lathe machines. Because this role is on the evening and night shifts you will have the independence to solve problems on your own. This position is a temp-to-hire role offering stable full-time hours with a trusted industry leader.

Key Responsibilities

Write and edit G-code programs to cut exact metal parts

Set up CNC Lathe machines by changing parts and loading programs

Use Mastercam software to write programs for complex machines

Read technical blueprints to ensure parts match exact specifications

Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers and micrometers

Troubleshoot machine issues and adjust programs when tools wear down

Coordinate with the previous shift to hand over running jobs

Maintain a clean neat and safe workspace

Requirements

3 to 5 years of experience setting up and running CNC Lathes

2 years of experience writing machine programs

Strong blueprint reading and basic geometry math skills

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
