Job Type: Full-time Weekend Shift (Friday-Sunday 6:00am-6:00pm)

Position Overview:
The CNC Laser Operator will prepare and operate Trumpf laser cutting machine(s) to support production team(s) in accordance with company specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform set-up inspections first piece inspections as well as all subsequent inspections.
- Adjust and prepare punch/laser combinations of jobs read work orders to determine specifications such as materials to be used locations of cutting lines or dimensions and tolerances.
- Be comfortable using measuring tools to complete tasks (micrometers height gages and bore gages).
- Set-up adjust and prepare punch/laser combinations of jobs
- Ensure material is loaded into the laser and the machine control is set-up to run to schedule
- Deburring parts with file or grinder as needed
- Perform set-up inspections first piece inspections as well as all subsequent inspections
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and manufacturing experience
- Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing drawings
- Proficiency in laser cutting and programming
- Familiarity with GD&T and precision measuring instruments including bore gauges and micrometers
- Basic math skills and ability to read blueprints
- Experience with hand tools fabrication and quality inspection
- Knowledge of machining processes including CNC and press brake operation
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a 10-hour shift.
- Frequently lift carry push or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Frequently bend twist reach stoop and grasp.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate machinery and measuring equipment.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moving machinery noise and varying temperatures.
- Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Manufacturing production environment.
- Regular exposure to machinery metal materials and industrial noise.
- Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required to meet production demands.
