Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide one-on-one patient observation and support in a healthcare setting. This role primarily involves serving as a 1:1 sitter for patients requiring continuous supervision while also performing standard CNA duties as needed to support patient care and unit operations.
Key Responsibilities-
Provide continuous one-on-one observation for assigned patients to ensure safety and well-being.

Monitor patient behavior and promptly report any changes in condition or safety concerns to the nursing team.

Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing dressing grooming toileting and feeding as appropriate.

Support mobility and transfer needs while maintaining patient safety.

Assist nursing staff with routine patient care tasks and unit activities.

Maintain a safe clean and comfortable environment for patients.

Accurately document observations and care activities according to facility policies.

Communicate effectively with nurses patients families and interdisciplinary team members.

Follow all infection control patient privacy and safety protocols.

Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.

Minimum of 1 year of CNA experience in a hospital long-term care or healthcare setting.

Ability to provide attentive and continuous patient observation.

Strong communication interpersonal and observational skills.

Ability to respond calmly and appropriately in emergency situations.

Commitment to patient safety and compassionate care.

Current BLS/BCLS certification required.

Additional certifications may be required based on facility and unit needs.

13-week contract assignment.

Flexible scheduling based on facility coverage needs.

Must be willing to work various shifts including days evenings nights weekends and holidays as required.
