Job Title: CNA Long Term Care (LTC) Night Shift
Location: Edison NJ
Contract Length: 13 Weeks (Temp-to-Hire)
Shift: Night Shift 5x8 Hours (11:00 PM 7:00 AM)
Schedule: Every Other Weekend (EOW) & Holidays Required

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a Long Term Care (LTC) / Subacute Skilled Nursing assignment in Edison New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have prior LTC experience and be comfortable working with rehabilitation post-operative geriatric disabled and COVID-positive patient populations.

The CNA will work collaboratively with the nursing and rehabilitation teams to provide high-quality patient-centered care while ensuring resident safety comfort and dignity.

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Support ambulation ROM exercises and transfer assistance
• Provide feeding assistance and maintain calorie counts
• Perform personal hygiene grooming bed making and skin care
• Complete AM/HS care and monitor vital signs
• Record intake/output and bowel movements accurately
• Respond promptly to call bells and report changes in patient condition
• Assist with room transfers and post-mortem care as needed
• Follow restorative nursing care plans
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations

• Minimum 2 years of CNA experience required
• Previous LTC / Subacute Skilled Nursing experience required
• Active New Jersey CNA License required
• BLS Certification (AHA) required
• Ability to float throughout the facility as needed
• Must be comfortable working with COVID-positive patients
• Ability to successfully complete facility competency testing during the first week

• Experience working with geriatric and disabled patient populations

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of an approved CNA program required
