Job Description: Springfield Technical Community College (STCC) seeks a qualified and experienced Registered Nurse to serve as a part-time instructor for its Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) and Home Health Aide (HHA) Training Program. The instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality classroom laboratory and clinical instruction in accordance with all requirements established by STCC and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH). The successful candidate will prepare students for successful completion of the Massachusetts Certified Nurse Aide Certification examination while providing a supportive learner-centered educational environment. This position plays a critical role in preparing students for entry-level healthcare careers and advancing workforce development initiatives within the community. WORKING CONDITIONS This position requires classroom laboratory and clinical instruction in healthcare settings. The instructor must be able to demonstrate nursing assistant skills supervise students in clinical environments and comply with all College healthcare facility and Department of Public Health requirements. Duties normally performed in a classroom/lab environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Must be able to remain stationary and move about inside an office classroom or lab. Must be able to operate or use computers office machinery copier calculator etc. This person frequently communicates with students employees or the community. Must be able to exchange accurate information in various situations. Additional Information: Salary: $65.00 per through Thursday (4:00 to 7:00 PM or 5:30 to 8:30 PM). May vary based on need and as agreed upon with the supervisor. All candidates must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
