Job Summary
Nursing Vault Plus Staffing is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for an 11-week contract assignment with our premier healthcare client in Maine. This position is specifically for the night shift providing critical care and support to residents during the overnight hours.
We are looking for local candidates who are committed to excellence reliability and providing high-quality patient care.
Provide high-quality bedside care and assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including grooming bathing and feeding.
Monitor and record vital signs and report any significant changes in resident condition to the nursing staff.
Assist with positioning lifting and transferring residents using proper body mechanics and safety equipment.
Maintain a clean safe and organized environment for all residents.
Ensure all documentation is accurate and completed in a timely manner according to facility policy.
Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs with a professional and empathetic demeanor.
Certification: Active and unencumbered CNA license in the State of Maine.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a long-term care or hospital setting preferred.
Residency: Must be a local resident within commuting distance of the facility (No travel/stipend packages available for this role).
Skills: Strong communication skills ability to work effectively in a team and physical stamina for 12-hour shifts.
Availability: Must be able to commit to the full 11-week contract and the 6:45 PM 7:15 AM schedule.
Compliance: Current BLS/CPR certification and up-to-date immunizations/background check.
