Job Summary:
Palolo Nursing and Rehabilitation Center part of Palolo Chinese Home is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nurse Aide to provide basic nursing care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. The Certified Nurse Aide will assist with activities of daily living monitor patients vital signs and ensure a safe clean environment for patients.

Pay Range: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour - based on experience and skillset

Qualifications:

• Successful completion of a state-approved Certified Nurse Aide training program
• Current Hawaii certification as a Certified Nurse Aide
• Current CPR & First Aid certification
• 2 step TB clearance
• Criminal Background Check Fingerprinting and Drug Screen Clearance
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing grooming and feeding
• Take and record patients vital signs
• Assist nurses with medical procedures as needed
• Ensure patients rooms are clean and organized
• Follow established treatment plans to help patients reach their healthcare goals
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
• Document care provided and report any changes in patients conditions to the nursing staff

Work Hours:

• Day Shift 6:00am 2:30pm;
• Evening Shift 2:00pm 10:30pm;
• Overnight Shift 10:00pm 6:30am.
• May be asked to work other than above shift as resident care and staff training requires.
