CMM Operator, 2nd shift

Required Capabilities

• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints math data reports instructions and guidelines
• Proficient in MSA and SPC (Training to be provided)
• Proficient in using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Proficient in using measuring instruments i.e. caliper micrometer height gages etc.
• Able to use Brown & Sharp DCC Coordinate Measuring Machine.
• Able to demonstrate understanding of how job performance affects product quality and customer satisfaction
• Able to work well with others; build and maintain positive employee relations
• Able to prepare read and interpret written reports instructions procedures and guidelines
• Proficient in personal computer operation and applications in a MS Windows operating system.
• Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from management employees suppliers and customer
• Able to safely lift up to 40 pounds without assistance
• Able to safely use slings and hoists
• Able to maintain punctuality and good attendance record
• Able to maintain confidentiality and use discretion and tact
• Able to manage and schedule multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Able to work flexible hours and overtime
• Must display a can-do attitude and be able to work and perform job responsibilities with a minimum amount of direct supervision

Qualifications Education and Experience

• High School diploma or GE
• 3 years experience operating a CMM machine.
• Successful completion of AIAG MSA Certification Exam to be done within one year from hire date. If certification expires (e.g. every 3 years) employee must be re-certified prior to expiration.
