A leading international law firm is seeking a CMBS Securitization Associate Attorney to join its Charlotte office.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing issuers lenders servicers underwriters and other market participants in sophisticated commercial mortgage-backed securities and structured finance transactions.
36 years of CMBS securitization structured finance capital markets or commercial real estate finance experience
Experience with Agency CMBS transactions and mortgage securitizations preferred
Experience representing lenders issuers underwriters servicers trustees or other transaction participants
Experience drafting and negotiating securitization documents pooling and servicing agreements trust documents and related transaction agreements
Strong drafting analytical and communication skills
Ability to manage transactions independently while working directly with clients and deal teams
Experience handling complex commercial real estate finance transactions is a plus
Excellent academic credentials
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
North Carolina bar admission required or ability to become admitted
Sophisticated structured finance and securitization platform
Exposure to complex CMBS and capital markets transactions
Significant client interaction and responsibility
