Join our Pediatrics team and help make a difference in the lives of children and families every day! We are seeking a compassionate clinical professional to join our busy team-oriented clinic. This position is open to Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and Registered Nurses (RN) who are passionate about providing exceptional care in a fun fast-paced and family-centered this role youll support patients from infancy through adolescence while working alongside a collaborative team dedicated to helping children thrive.

Responsibilities
- Assist providers during patient exams procedures and treatments.
- Room patients obtain health histories record vital signs and document accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Administer medications immunizations and treatments according to scope of licensure.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions medications preventive care and follow-up instructions.
- Coordinate referrals testing and follow-up care to support positive patient outcomes.
- Respond to patient and parent questions concerns and clinical needs.
- Support well-child visits acute care appointments and routine pediatric procedures.
- Maintain a clean safe and organized clinical environment.
- Collaborate with providers and team members to deliver high-quality patient-centered care.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) Iowa Board of Nursing OR
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Iowa Board of Nursing OR
- Valid and current certification in the state of Iowa for Medical Assisting
- Graduate of an accredited program for Medical Assistants (Certificate diploma orAssociates Degree)required.
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant through one of the following required:
- NationalHealthcareAssociation
- American Association of Medical Assistants
- National Center forCompetencyTesting
- National Certified Medical Assistant
- National Association of Health Professionals
- American Registry of Medical Assistants
- American Allied Health
- American Medical Technologists
- Familiarity with EPIC a plus!
