Clubhouse Coordinator

The Seaway Valley Prevention Council seeks a self-driven and creative individual to serve as its full-time Clubhouse Coordinator at the Horizons Youth Clubhouse in Massena.

The Clubhouse Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the Horizons Youth Clubhouse. Duties include designing programming overseeing the project budget planning community events scheduling presentations engaging with youth and parents working with local school districts and completing reporting.

An effective Clubhouse Coordinator works to engage teens in meaningful engaging programming that aligns with their interests while overseeing the programs organization and structure.

Applicants must strive for organization and be self-directed possess strong written and oral communication skills understand a variety of social media platforms enjoy trying new things and enjoy working with teens and the community. Successful applicants must be able to use positive language to lead a team be creative and be adaptive. Organization and effective leadership skills are a must.

The position requires some travel to the agencys primary office location and for professional development opportunities. The position works Monday - Friday with hours adjusting when school is in session.

The minimum requirement is an associate degree in Education Public Health or a related field. A bachelors degree is strongly preferred. A NYS OASAS CPP is required immediately upon hire.
