Job Summary:
Seeking a full-time Coordinator to manage the complex daily scheduling of clients and staff ensuring seamless service delivery across programs. This position is primarily responsible for optimizing staffing levels matching personnel with client needs and resolving roster gaps in a fast-paced environment. Acting as a critical operational anchor this role serves as the primary backup to the Supervisor providing leadership and team oversight when required. Additionally this position maintains field readiness to step in directly as a Community Living Supports (CLS) Coach to ensure client coverage when needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate should be very detailed organized and be able to multi-task with excellent communication skills
Maintaining and optimizing client and staff schedules
Logging documenting and updating databases of all reports and paperwork received/due from clinical staff and clients
Answering high volume of calls
25% of the time performing duties as a Community Living Supports Coach assisting clients with their individualized plan of service.
Provide direct physical assistance and personal care to youth and adults including personal hygiene management and responding to soiling or toileting needs as required.
Supports Supervisor with client tours and intakes when needed
Working closely with clinical staff and other staff in central support and programs
Responding to staff and clients in a timely manner
Assist supervisor with auditing the accuracy quantity and timeliness of staff notes.
Maintaining good customer relations
Must be a problem solver
Performing related clerical duties such as word processing maintaining filing and record systems scanning faxing and photocopying
Assisting other program staff and be a strong team player
Maintains confidentiality of client information
Follows all regulatory compliance
Completes other miscellaneous duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Criminal records driving and recipient rights screening required
Valid Michigan drivers license good driving record and the availability of licensed insured vehicle for use on the job required.
Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
Should be process oriented
Must be able to enforce policies and procedures and be comfortable influencing
Proficiency in Outlook Microsoft Office and electronic health records
Strong Communication skills (both speaking and writing is required)
High attention to detail
Exceptional responsiveness and follow-through.
Education and Experience:
At least two years of patient/client scheduling preferred
Associate degree strongly preferred but not required
Work Conditions:
May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens infectious diseases and parasites
Travel in the community
Sitting for extended periods
