Clow Valve Production Forklift

Clow Valves Machine Shop has an opening for a production forklift operator.

2nd shift position M-Th 3pm-1am

Starting Wage: $27.29; Qualified Wage: $27.67

Health Insurance available after 60 days

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Inspecting their forklift and filling out inspection paperwork.
• Visually assessing and clearing their traffic area of people objects and other forklift traffic.
• Inspect loads verifying they are secure for transport and accurate.
• Transfer to designated location throughout the facility by complying with all safety rules and regulations.

Qualifications :

Qualifications include but are not limited to:

• Lifting/carrying of less than 50 pounds.
• Frequent pushing pulling reaching & twisting of certain weights required.
• Standing & walking greater than 2 hours per day.
• Sitting greater than 7 hours per to move neck forward/back & turn right/left kneel squat & climb using arms and legs.
• Repetitive use of both hands & fingers to grasp exert force wear gloves write & utilize tools.
• Frequent work in extreme temperature conditions.
• Ability to work with solvents & chemicals operate a crane truck forklift & other moving vehicles.
• Manufacturing experience & working around machinery considered.
• PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including but not limited to earplugs safety glasses metatarsal & guarded boots are required
