Job Summary
- Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Consultant (Salt Automation)
- Location: New York (Park Ave) // New Jersey (Jersey City) (Fully Onsite)

Provide expert support for Configuration Drift Management using Salt solution on ICPW platform ensuring consistent compliant and automated configuration management across VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9.x environments.
Key Responsibilities- Design implement and support configuration drift detection and remediation using SaltStack
- Ensure infrastructure consistency across environments (Dev QA Prod)
- Develop and maintain configuration baselines and policies
- Automate remediation workflows for identified drift scenarios
- Provide operational and technical support for VMware Cloud Foundation environments
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align solutions with business needs
- Provide regular updates documentation and knowledge transfer
- Identify opportunities to improve automation efficiency and reliability
- Drive enhancements in tooling scripts and operational processes
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with SaltStack (Salt)
- Experience in Configuration Drift Management / Infrastructure as Code
- Deep understanding of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) architecture
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent stakeholder communication and consulting mindset
- Ability to lead technical discussions and manage client expectations
- Self-driven with ability to work independently in complex environments
