Cloud Developer Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our technology-based program supporting a key government customer. As a Full Stack Developer you will play a critical role in designing developing and deploying sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure including web applications network infrastructure and cloud services. This is a fast-paced challenging and rewarding opportunity to work on a complex and high-profile program.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field (e.g. Systems Engineering)

• Minimum of 11 years of professional software development experience

• Proficiency in Java and C#

• Experience with modern frameworks and technologies such as React TypeScript

• Hands-on experience developing solutions in cloud environments (AWS Azure Google Cloud or Oracle)

• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and related tools (e.g. Jira GitHub Jenkins) including pipeline development release management and orchestration

• Proficiency with scripting languages preferably Python or PowerShell

• Experience developing in both Windows and Linux environments

• Ability to work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective technical solutions

• Experience architecting implementing and maintaining solutions within cloud environments (e.g. AWS or Azure)

• Strong documentation skills including developing concepts of operations and standards of practice for tiered maintenance support

• Ability to interface with senior leadership and provide regular status update

• Experience with SQL and relational databases including:

• Database design and administration concepts

• CRUD operations and query optimization

• Implementing SQL commands within application code

• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)

• Understanding of data protection and data loss prevention considerations

• Experience developing applications intended to operate across multiple networks or environments including:

• Disconnected restricted or differently classified networks

• Designing applications with portability security boundaries and deployment constraints in mind

• Adapting development practices to meet varying compliance accreditation and operational requirements

Desired Qualifications:

• Ansible
• Powershell
• Java
• Microsoft Certified Engineer
• Microsoft Ceritified Architect
• Or other relevant vendor professional certifications current within the last 3 to 5 years.

• The expected salary range within the Washington DC metropolitan area is:$175000 - 195000. Final compensation is unique to each individual and will be determined based on factors such as experience education geographic location and contractual requirements. This is not a guarantee.
