Role Overview:

As a Cloud Cybersecurity Engineer at our vibrant Los Angeles headquarters you will serve as the primary point of contact for all Cybersecurity this hands-on roleyoullensure a challenging balance of Cybersecurity and Enablement across the enterprise. You will be one of the first CloudSecurity-focused hires and help build our internal security and infrastructure from the ground closely with the IT team and contribute to company-wide IT initiatives infrastructure upgrades and process improvements providing securityinputandadvisingbest practice in a dynamic fast-paced workplace.

Responsibilities:

• Help build and manageour Cloud Security Posture relatedplatformsand processes.
• Co-own implementation of multiple enterprise Cybersecurity programs.
• Assistwith security architecture reviews roll outsenhancementsand initiatives.
• Research and implement security automations and partner with IT and other teams to implement into processes proceduresand baselines.
• Design documentand implement security solutions for cloud-based systems including IAM network security data protectionDevSecOps and compliance.
• Utilize cloud security best practices including encryption authentication authorization and audit capabilities.
• Maintain technicalproficiencyand certifications relevant to security solutions and architectures.
• Work full-timehybrid and on-siteout of our office in Los Angeles (Hawthorne) California.

MinimumRequirements:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience ininformation technology computer science or information systemsmanagement.
• 5 years of experience in technology-driven security solutions within defense or related industrieswith emphasis on cloud infrastructure.
• Experiencein one or more of the following areas:EDR Firewall SIEMorother common Cybersecurity solutions.
• Experience with automation related to Cloud Infrastructure and Cloud Security
• Experience with high availability and redundant infrastructure.
• Experience with AI and LLM platforms both cloud and local.
• Experience in IT security risk assessments and industry frameworks (NIST 800 series CMMC CIS Controlsetc).
• Strong knowledgein one or more of the following areas:Identity and Access Management (IAM) cryptography key management access controlsorsecurity protocols (e.g. Multi-factor SAML OAuthetc).
• Expertisein Azure/AWS Infrastructure services and cloud security best practices.
• Strong analytical system design and communication skills.
• Self-motivated proactive problem solver with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience either as aCybersecurity Engineeror SOC Engineerwith a focus on Cloud infrastructure
• Experience with scriptingautomationand integration of multiple platforms and data sources.
• Deep experience with AI and LLM platforms andsecurity related to both.
• 7 years withLinux AzureAWSand common Cloud Security Stack experience.
• Eligible to obtain andmaintainan active U.S. Secret/Top Secret security clearance.
