Job Summary
- TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION YOU MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE TS/SCI W/ FULL SCOPE POLYGRAPH SECURITY CLEARANCE (U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED)
- Administer maintain and troubleshoot Linux systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime
- Manage physical hardware including setup maintenance and troubleshooting for development network environments
- Perform hands-on hardware troubleshooting including component replacement equipment installation cable management and system validation
- Configure and verify server connectivity to ensure systems are reachable and properly integrated into the network environment
- Develop and implement automation scripts using Ansible to streamline processes and improve efficiency
- Configure manage and support virtualization platforms such as VMWare Xen or Nutanix
- Diagnose and resolve network-related issues ensuring seamless connectivity and performance
- Work with the ISSO/ISSE team to configure devices to meet STE/STN compliance requirements
- Administer patches to maintain STE/STN compliance requirements
- Assist with Windows patching when necessary to maintain a secure and compliant infrastructure
- Strong Linux System Administration experience
- Hands-on hardware experience to include rack configuration cabling hardware troubleshootingand maintenance
- Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms (e.g. VMWare Xen Nutanix)
- Network troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of STE/STN and vulnerability patching
- Proficiency in Ansible scripting and automation
- Windows Server Maintenance
- Familiarity with Jira & Confluence
Qualifications:
Five (5) years of experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope type and complexity is requiredor 9 years without the degree.
Experience with Linux System administration is required.
Compensation: We are committed to providing fair and competitive compensation. The salary range for this position is $78000 to $250000 per year. This range reflects the compensation offered across the locations where we hire. The exact salary will be determined based on the candidates work location specific role skill set and level of expertise.
