Responsibilities

What Youll Do

  • Deliver comprehensive clinical services and therapeutic supports in community and residential settings.
  • Develop monitor and evaluate functional behavior support plans to reduce challenging behaviors and build replacement skills.
  • Provide coaching and training for staff and caregivers to ensure effective implementation of behavior plans.
  • Conduct assessments on interests preferences skills satisfaction and quality of life.
  • Collaborate with families guardians and multidisciplinary teamsincluding residential clinical and community-based providers.
  • Participate in intake processes Individual Support Plan (ISP) meetings and ongoing care coordination.
  • Provide crisis management training and professional development to staff using our foundation-approved curriculum.
  • Maintain confidential clinical records and comply with all mandated reporting requirements.

Skills: Applied behavior analysis positive behavior support functional behavior assessments CBT/DBT techniques data collection staff training and clinical supervision.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree preferably in psychology behavior analysis special education mental health counseling or a related field. BCBA or professional licensure (e.g. psychologist LMHC LICSW) preferred. Dual credentials and/or professional training and experience in mental health acquired brain injury and/or positive behavior support (PBS) preferred.

  • Supervised training and experience delivering comprehensive behavior analytic services and supports to individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities within their natural environments including conducting functional behavior assessments and designing/implementing/monitoring behavior support plans.

  • Experience implementing positive behavior support strategies and/or verbal behavior assessment and intervention preferred.

  • Training and experience with clinical supervision preferably in the delivery of behavior analytic services.
  • Valid drivers license issued from the state of your residence and means of consistent transportation
  • Ability to travel to various cities and towns as assigned
