Job Title: ClinicianReport to: Program ManagerDepartment: WellnessProgram: 1301-DT WellnessLocation:Wellness Center - 345 S. San Pedro Street Los Angeles CA 90013Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pmStatus: Full Time; Non-Management; Non-Exempt (hourly no paid lunch)Benefits: Medical Dental Vision Retirement Planning (403b) Employee Assistance Program (EAP) part of an interdisciplinary team the Clinician will conduct psychotherapy with adult members that have severe and persistent mental illness at the Wellness Center site and in the field. The Clinicians primary responsibilities are to engage members and to coordinate mental and recovery services that will ensure housing stability and community integrations. This position is responsible for maintaining the highest quality provision of direct individual and group therapeutic and case management services while fostering teamwork among staff and across departments and Duties and Responsibilities:Provide coordinate and implement mental health and recovery support services with individual individual family and group psychotherapy and document services using Department of Mental Health (DMH) and Medi-Cal effective trusting relationships with members with a focus on facilitating independence and maintenance of improved physical and mental with each member to develop their individual treatment plan review and update it upon completion of management and other Clinicians with program evaluation for future program improvements and members with becoming involved in daily activities socialization health maintenance sense of community and progress in recovery reflecting of The People Concerns model which emphasizes customer choice harm reduction and psychosocial cooperatively and cohesively with other members of the Wellness Center team including participation in weekly staff meetings group clinical supervision and crisis intervention in crisis interventions as needed including participating in on call rotation calendar for overnight and weekend After Hours Emergency :Masters degree in Social Work Marriage and Family Therapy or Psychology from an accredited universityMust be registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences or have the ability to do so within the first 90 days of employmentValid CA Drivers license reliable car auto insurance and an acceptable driving recordAble to transport members in your clinical and strong team-building in Microsoft Word Outlook Excel and database oriented with excellent time management organizational written verbal interpersonal and computer to learn quickly and work effectively with a wide range of constituencies and with minimal Qualifications:Experience working with those living with mental illness and/or substance addictionsExperience completing DMH documentationBilingual SpanishWork Environment:Combination of either field and/or office environment depending on positionOn occasion walk or drive to different agency sitesMay necessitate working in busy and loud environments depending on positionMay be exposed to elements like cold heat dust noise and odor depending on positionMay need to bend stoop twist and sit throughout the dayRegularly required to sit stand bend; occasionally lift or carry up to 35 lbs.
