Family and Community Based Services

Family and Community Based Services provide individualized child-centered and family friendly supports to help families with children ages 4-17 who have significant emotional behavioral or mental health challenges. Clinicians provide assessment in-home family support crisis intervention and advocacy to help families access needed services and supports. Consider this position if you have a Masters Degree are licensed/license eligible and have use of a personal vehicle with an acceptable driving history.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate care and treatment of children with emotional and behavioral challenges and their families.
• Develop treatment plans complete clinical assessments make treatment recommendations referrals and plan for discharge.
• Provide in home clinical support and assist families to address behavioral challenges with the goal of restoring family autonomy.

Requirements:

• Masters degree in Social Work Psychology Community Mental Health or Human Services
• 3-5 years experience working with children and families with emotional and behavioral disabilities care coordination and knowledge of community resources.
• License/License Eligible (see Licensing Requirements Notice below)
• Use of a personal vehicle

Vermont regulation mandates that individuals who are on the Roster of Nonlicensed Noncertified Psychotherapists through the Office of Professional Regulation must be actively working towards professional licensure. This rule does not apply to First Call for Chittenden County.

Structure:

• Full-time
• AFSCME Union (dues will apply)
• Annual salary starting at $57314.71 (Non-Licensed) $61269.43 (Licensed). Pro-rated for part-time.
