Clinician Community Center Based (Non-Licensed)

Devereux Florida provides programs and services for children and families.The Neighborhood for Families Program is a communitybased initiative that delivers intensive therapeutic and supportive services directly within local neighborhoods and community centers to children youth and families in Orange County. It focuses on providing individual family couples or group therapy in nonclinical settings helping families who may be experiencing stress emotional challenges or earlystage behavioral concerns before they escalate. Clinicians collaborate with case managers and partner agencies to assess needs develop individualized treatment plans and link families to additional resources and supports in the community. The goal of the program is to strengthen family functioning promote resilience and improve overall wellbeing by making mental health services more accessible in the places families already live and gather.

This position with the Neighborhood Center for Families Program is responsible for:

• Providing therapy to individuals of all ages families couples and/or groups; this is a community based program and the position will be housed at a Community Center.
• Providingintensive therapeuticservices assessing clients and formulating individualized multidisciplinary treatment plans.
• Working with treatment team members and case managers.
• Working in collaboration with partner agencies to meet the varying needs of community members.

Position Details:

Pay Range: This position starts at $50000 / annual. Salary is based on relevant education and experience.

Schedule: Monday- Friday 9am-5pm; with occasional evening and weekend requirements.

Location: this position will be at our Apopka-Zellwood site (6565 Willow St Zellwood FL 32798)

Education and Licensure:

• Masters degree in the field of counseling social work psychology required
• Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker Mental Health Counselor or Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Florida preferred

Experience:

• Two years experience working directly with children adolescents and families OR related experience working under the direct supervision of a licensed clinician preferred

Other Requirements:

• Valid Drivers license
• Must be willing to meet clients in community setting.
• Successfully pass pre-employment medical screenings which include: Drug Test and TB Test.
