Join IQVIA a global leader in advancing healthcare and clinical research. We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to support clinical trial patients through in-home visits in the Walnut Creek this role youll contribute to the development of innovative therapies while providing high-quality patient care in a community-based setting.
This position offers a flexible per diem schedule with visits typically occurring during morning and early afternoon hours. It is an excellent opportunity for PRN part-time or experienced nurses seeking supplemental income and exposure to clinical research.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct in-home visits with clinical trial participants in accordance with study protocols.
Collect clinical data and biological samples to support the evaluation of investigational treatments.
Perform nursing procedures including:
Venipuncture/blood collection.
Vital signs assessment and urine specimen collection.
Medication administration as required by protocol.
Subcutaneous injection administration when applicable.
Accurate labeling packaging and shipment of specimens.
Monitor document and report Adverse Events (AEs) and Serious Adverse Events (SAEs).
Conduct Mental Health (MH) assessments and protocol-specific patient evaluations.
Complete study documentation accurately thoroughly and within required timelines.
Ensure compliance with study protocols regulatory requirements and patient safety standards.
Qualifications
Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of California.
Current BLS certification required.
Recent experience performing venipuncture and blood draws.
Strong clinical assessment and patient education skills.
Comfortable using electronic documentation systems and basic computer applications.
Flexible availability with the ability to travel regionally (up to 90 miles).
Reliable transportation internet access and a mobile phone.
Pediatric nursing experience preferred.
Experience in hematology required.

The potential base pay range for this role is $50.00-$60.00 per hour. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge skills education and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
