Job Summary

This role designs delivers andmaintainstraining programsincluding core workforce competenciesandleadership developmentensuring staff have the knowledge and skills to provide high-qualityrecovery-oriented transportation isrequired as this role involvestravelacross California to support programs and organizational RESPONSIBILITIESTrainingAssess training needs using evaluations surveys and collaboration with agency leadership. Design develop and deliver engaging in-person virtual and hybrid trainingsacross training content materials and experiential activities that reflect agency values and clinical andmaintaintraining materials and intranet training evaluations and update materials to reflectcurrent clinical vision andbest practices. Support delivery of agency-wide training initiatives including Calm Every Storm trainings. Adapt trainingsanddelivery to meet diverse learning styles and program needs. Coordinate logisticsfortrainings including scheduling technical setup room reservations and certificates. Ensure trainings alignwithlicensing & Clinical SupportServe as a liaison between programs internal workgroups and the Training Department. Partner with program leadership to assess training requests and manage workflows. Communicate with staff and leadership about training initiatives. Participate in clinical and training meetings to promote consistency and alignment across programs. Participate in the Learning and Development Collaborative and other & Systems SupportManage Training Help Desk requests and Relias system maintenance. Support Continuing Education (CE) programand other Training Team initiatives. Complete assigned trainingsin a timely manner. Support other Training Team andPeople Team initiatives as school diploma or equivalent required. Addiction Studies Certificate orBachelors degree in Health and Human Services Social Work Psychology or a related field preferred. Certificationas a Substance Use Disorder Counselor (SUDC) through a California-accredited organization: CCAPP CAADE or CADTP. Valid California drivers license and access to registered and insured of 3 years of clinical experience in healthcare or behavioral health. Experience in a training capacity or other transferable experience (e.g. designing and deliveringtrainingsgiving presentations mentoring staffto build clinical skills and workforce competency etc.). Experience within large multi-site community-based or nonprofit organizations (preferred). Experience with Medi-Cal documentation and DHCS regulations (preferred). Experiencewith learning management systems preferably Relias LMS or Articulate 360(preferred). Experience supporting Continuing Education (CE) programs for counselors (preferred). Experience facilitatingadult learning experiential activities and interactive workshops (preferred). Experience creating visual or graphic content to support training materials communications or job aids using tools such as Canva Adobe Creative Suite or similar platforms (preferred).
