Description

Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Clinical Support Technician to join our Pulmonary team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.

Position Summary:
Service excellence is to be centered on patient care and patient relationships and is the responsibility of all employees. Teamwork is the norm and all employees will be held accountable to work as effective team members. Provide/support patients care by performing tasks and duties consistent with professional standards ICSI guidelines and PNHS policies and addition may function in supply aid and/or sterilization capacity. Maintain a safe work area and ensure that it is adequately stocked cleaned and organized. Implement cleaning and sterilizing procedures to support infection control and OSHA standards.

Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Required Qualifications:

  • Education Experience or Equivalent Combination:
    • Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician program or currently registered as a pharmacy technician with one or more years pharmacy technician experience OR
    • Graduate of an accredited Nursing Assistant program and current Nursing Assistant Certification
  • Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
    • Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or Red Cross required and maintained.
    • On-line BLS certification is not acceptable.
    • Must maintain skill in performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
    • Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
    • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills including appropriate use of English grammar and spelling.
    • Demonstrated ability to function with multiple priorities and interruptions.
    • Safely and effectively operate the following: Various Health Testing Equipment (depending upon specialty area) Personal Computer Printer FAX Machine and Telephone.
    • Strong clinical and human relations skills
    • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing and maintain standards of clinical skills and professional ethics as established by the AAMA.
    • Basic computer/keyboarding/mouse skills required.
    • Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and ensure safety of patients.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education Experience or Equivalent Combination:

    • At least six months recent (within the last 3 years) experience in a direct patient care setting

  • Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

    • Excellent interpersonal skills

    • Computer skills preferred.
