- Work location:Texas Health Southwest 6100 Harris Parkway Fort Worth TX 76132 Sports Medicine department across from main hospital
- Work hours:Part-time: 24 hours/week (3) 8-hour shifts variable schedule Monday-Friday

Heres What You Need
Bachelors Degree Completion of a Physical Therapy program required.
2-years Physical Therapy experience required.
1 year experience as a clinical instructor for Physical Therapy professional students preferred.
ABPTS - American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists upon hire required Or CNT - Certified Neonatal Therapist And upon hire required
PT - Physical Therapist Texas Physical Therapy License Upon Hire required
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterlyRequired.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
Problem- solving ability; Ability to teach others.
Time management skills; Good interpersonal and customer service skills Basic leadership skills.
What You Will Do
Performs age-appropriate patient assessment and establishes plan of care.
Uses therapeutic treatment techniques appropriate to patient age and desire for treatment.
Educates patient and family through instruction demonstration and/or appropriate handouts in treatment plan safety issues home
programs/self-management and assistive equipment.
Documents all aspects of assessment plan of care and re-certifications in accordance with departmental TJC Medicare and other applicable regulatory guidelines.
Works in partnership with peers other disciplines and departmental personnel
Focus on Daily Living Skills Mobility and Cognition of Patients.
