The Clinical Resource Manager for Wound Care acts as a resource role model and expert to prevent and manage skin breakdown and complex wounds in patients across all hospital floors. By ensuring that evidence-based care is provided to promote optimal healing this role includes but is not limited to conducting wound rounds on all floors providing specialized care support and education to patients and staff. The Clinical Resource Supervisor for Wound Care formulates policies and educational resources relative to wounds and appropriate management strategies through collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team.

Must have a NYS RN license. Minimum of 2 years of wound care experience in a clinical setting. Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) required MSN preferred. Current Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse Certification (CWOCN) required plus specialized certifications as needed. Masters degree in a related field.
