Job Summary
We are hiring a Clinical Psychologist to join our team of talented medical professionals to conduct a one-time non-treatment Veteran Disability Exam in Dothan AL.
- Employment Status: Part Time
- Compensation: This is an hourly position paid bi-weekly.
- Schedule: Part Time 3 days a week Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.

Requirements: The Clinical Psychologist must have and meet the following:
- Requirement Qualifications:
Must be a psychologist or psychiatrist licensed in at least one state in the United States.
Psychiatrists or Neurologists must be board certified or must have completed a 2-year residency with either specialty
Psychologists must obtain a PhD or PsyD with a Major in Psychology; Specialty studies must focus on the adult population such as Clinical Counseling or School Psychology (or a combination of these). Child-focused psychology programs are not acceptable.
Psychologists must have graduated from a doctorate or post-doctorate APA-accredited program. - Certification: Have an active and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Demonstrates compassion and professionalism and a commitment to providing excellent service and care.
Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook) and using EMR and platforms.
Skilled in professional communication critical thinking and informed-care decision-making.
Works independently and can manage time in order to provide a quality service while meeting set deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in clinical settings
Prior VA or C&P experience
Job Summary:
- Review pertinent mental health history documentation and provide one-time non-treatment behavioral health compensation and pensions exams for Veterans.
- The Clinical Psychologist will capture responses during the exam through a web-based examination form(s); all documentation will be completed electronically. Completed exams are sent to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for disability award determinations.
- Common reasons for assessment are PTSD depression anxiety and eating disorders.
