About the Job

Carter Psychology Center is seeking a dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join our growing team of experienced mental health this role you will provide psychological assessment diagnosis and evidence-based treatment for individuals experiencing a wide range of emotional behavioral cognitive and interpersonal concerns. You will work collaboratively with patients families physicians and other healthcare providers to develop individualized treatment plans that promote long-term mental wellness.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and diagnostic assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
• Provide individual couples family and group psychotherapy as appropriate.
• Diagnose and treat mood disorders anxiety disorders trauma behavioral concerns adjustment disorders and other mental health conditions.
• Administer score and interpret psychological assessment instruments.
• Maintain accurate timely and confidential clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists primary care providers educators and community resources to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses treatment recommendations and coping strategies.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews and clinical consultations.
• Stay current with advances in psychological research ethics and best clinical practices.

Requirements

• Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Clinical Psychologist.
• Experience providing psychotherapy and psychological assessment across diverse populations.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other therapeutic interventions.
• Excellent diagnostic clinical interviewing and report-writing skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication and organizational abilities.
• Commitment to ethical practice cultural competence and patient-centered care.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary clinical environment.
