Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Clinical Pharmacy Specialist you willdrive excellence in patient care through advanced clinical pharmacy services and strategic leadership. This pivotal role involves implementing cutting-edgepharmacy initiatives optimizing medication outcomes throughevidence-based medicine and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across our healthcare system. You will be instrumental in integratingclinical pharmacy programs ensuring regulatory compliance and elevating the standard of pharmaceutical care in a dynamic clinical environment.

Every day you willdirectly impact patient safety and quality by performing the duties of aregistered staff pharmacist interpreting critical medication orders and resolving complex drug-related issues. Youll actively engage inmentoring pharmacists and pharmacy residents educating medical staff oncost-effective pharmaceutical solutions and contributing to interdisciplinary committees to shape best practices. Your expertise will guide the development of clinical programs support one or moreService Lines and ensure robustmedication managementacross the continuum of care.

To be successful in this role you willpossess a strong foundation inclinical pharmacy practice coupled with proven leadership and teaching abilities. Your skillset must include exceptionaldrug information expertise proficiency inautomated pharmacy systems and a commitment to meticulous documentation of clinical interventions. We seek an individual with a passion forpharmacy education a readiness to precept students and residents and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse healthcare teams to deliver optimalpatient outcomesand uphold our mission vision and values.

Job Requirements

Required:

  • Nebraska Pharmacist License
  • Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR) through the American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through the American Heart Association
  • Residency completion OR 2 years of clinical experience
  • Board Certification
