How youll contribute
AClinical Pharmacistwho excels in this role:
Manages drug therapy protocols as a part of an interdisciplinary team.
Reviews interprets and evaluates medication orders to identify prevent and resolve potential or actual drug related problems.
Provides drug information and education to medical staff healthcare professionals and patients and pharmacy students.
Documents interventions and their outcomes for use in drug therapy quality improvement efforts.
Evaluates medication orders for accuracy and completeness prior to order entry.
Checks for accuracy afterbeing filledby technicians.
Maintains adequate knowledge of pharmacy automated systems and computer software.
Accurately and appropriatelyissues controlledsubstances to patient care areas.
Corrects and attends to all discrepancies with controlled substances as required by law.

What were looking for
Education: Bachelors degree required
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required
Experience: 1 to 2 years as a licensed pharmacist with enhanced clinical responsibilities.
Licenses: Valid Pharmacy license from the state.
Required Skills: Familiarity with organization and functions of each hospital department Leadership ability integrity and initiative required. Ability to solve problems effectively and handle stress in a positive manner. Maintain harmonious relationships with nursing personnel medical staff hospital administration and all hospital department.
