Performance and Safety SpecialistCommunity Bridges Inc. CBI provides residential outpatient inpatient patient-centered medical homes medication-assisted treatment and crisis services to individuals experiencing crisis opioid use disorder homelessness and mental is the premiere non-profit fully integrated healthcare provider of substance use and behavioral health programs in Arizona including prevention education and treatment using cutting-edge nationally recognized evidence-based SummaryThe Performance and Safety Specialist (PASS) Team Member plays a key role in fostering a safe well-trained and competent workforce by delivering critical training programs and supporting ongoing staff development. This position is responsible for conducting New Hire Orientation as well as teaching CPR/First Aid and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training. The PASS Team Member ensures staff maintain required competencies through initial and continuous monitoring of skills and knowledge at their assigned site. Working collaboratively with Training Department and program leadership this individual helps assess and address safety practices and training needs at assigned units. Additionally the PASS Team Member supports the creation implementation and evaluation of unit-specific training plans to promote best practices and enhance overall staff and Experience RequiredHighschool diploma or GED required. Associates Degree or higher preferred. 2-5 years of experience in the health care field required. 1-3 years of experience in a training or education role preferred. Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders Medical Technician certification (valid within the state of Arizona) is preferred but not required for this position. Certified Nurse Assistant certification (current and valid within the State of Arizona) is preferred but not required of this position. Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) in accordance with A.A.C. R.33 and CBI Clinical Policies and Procedures. Current AZ Drivers License (valid and in good standing).
