Job Summary
A veterinary organization is seeking a Clinical Operations Veterinarian to support multiple hospitals within a region. This role is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys a mix of clinical work and leadership with a strong focus on mentorship collaboration and operational position offers the opportunity to remain hands-on in patient care while also guiding veterinary teams and contributing to the overall success of multiple practices.
- Deliver high-quality medical care and perform procedures
- Provide case consultations and clinical support to DVMs
- Mentor veterinarians in areas such as surgery dentistry and case management
- Support recruitment onboarding and training of veterinary staff
- Analyze performance metrics and contribute to operational improvements
- Ensure compliance with medical standards and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with leadership on scheduling staffing and hospital performance
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree
- Active veterinary license
- 3 years of clinical experience
- Strong leadership and mentorship abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Willingness to travel between supported hospitals
