Job Summary:

This position receives a $2.00/hr Clinical Coordinator differential in addition to base pay.

The Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) role is integral to the success of TriState Health; participating in the onboarding and orientation of new staff providing training and continuing education updating policies and procedures and working with hospital leadership to develop and meet strategic organizational goals. Duties include evaluation of evidence that supports clinical practice implementing changes in the delivery of safe patient care ensuring staff competency and prioritizing organizational education addition to sharing Clinical Educator Generalist duties this role is responsible for combining clinical education expertise with oversight and project coordination in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Training:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing bachelors degree or higher preferred.

Licensures/ Certifications:

• Current Washington State RN license.
• Current American Heart Associations; BLS/CPR.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years nursing experience in an acute care setting required.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

• Personal attributes to include ownership of actions organized open-minded effective communicator and ability to adapt.
• Skills to include strong basic nursing and the ability to coach and guide staff striving towards excellence in patient care.
• Other skills to include electronic medical record documentation Word and Excel experience.
• Must be available to work flexible hours to accommodate staff.
