Job Description:

The Pharmacy Clinical Manager acts as the principal point of contact for safe and appropriate medication use through education and physician liaison activities. Provides leadership to the department in the provision of clinical pharmacy services and drug information to medical nursing and ancillary staff. Facilitates the development implementation and maintenance of systems that promote optimal patient outcomes through safe appropriate and cost-effective medication therapy.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy required.

• Kentucky Board of Pharmacy License in good standing required.

• Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience as a licensed pharmacist required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion of PGY-2 residency preferred.

• Board certification or other advanced certification preferred.
