The Clinical Laboratory Assistant works under the general supervision of the laboratory section manager in support of the Clinical Laboratory Scientists/Medical Technologists and Technicians. He/she performs duties in the technical areas of the laboratory including specimen handling inventory maintenance and others as assigned.
3-5 year Experience in Required or prior experience as a laboratory assistant or equivalent preferred
High School Diploma OR GED
Associates degree Preferred
Some college coursework in a science field is desirable
