The Vernon Staffing Group is seeking an experienced Clinical Engineering Cyber Specialist for an exciting opportunity with a large Hospital.
In this critical role you will lead the technical execution of a medical device cybersecurity program helping protect patient care technologies while ensuring compliance with healthcare cybersecurity standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead implementation of medical device cybersecurity strategies
Perform cybersecurity risk assessments and threat analysis
Implement cybersecurity controls and critical security fixes
Collaborate with Clinical Engineering IT and Information Security teams
Monitor emerging threats and assess impact to medical device inventory
Support cybersecurity metrics and reporting for leadership

Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Experience in medical device cybersecurity or healthcare technology environments
Knowledge of NIST ISO FDA and Joint Commission standards
Experience with CMMS platforms
Valid Drivers License required
CISSP HCISPP CEH Security or similar certifications preferred
