Clinical EHR Data Analyst

Job Title: EHR Support Clinical

Job Summary: Responsible for the installation maintenance and optimization of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. Provides data analysis report development and technicalassistance. Supports program activities related to patient care regulatory compliance and education. Conducts data collection and abstraction while leading system and data projects requiring advancedexpertise.

Reports To: Chief Administrative Officer

Hourly range:$24.87-$49.85(posted hourly range excludes overtime and bonuses which are not guaranteed)

Essential Job Functions:

• Analyze and document business requirements for EHR projects; translate workflows into functional specifications.

• Serve as a liaison for providers clinical staff and stakeholders; consult on clinical and business processes.

• Collaborate with operational leaders to design analyses thatidentifycare improvement opportunities and measure outcomes.

• Assess develop andmaintainclinical applications tooptimizeworkflow and patient care.

• Identifyand recommend process enhancements to improve system automation and clinical workflow.

• Conduct data analysis for clinical improvements regulatory compliance and system enhancements.

• Act as a clinical resource and subject matter expert integrating nursingexpertisewith IT solutions.

• Guide teams in system usagemonitoreffectiveness and manage system updates.

• Implement and oversee system testing user training and troubleshooting.

• Ensure compliance with security protocols to protect patient health information.

• Maintain knowledge of legal regulatory and practice standards.

• Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support.
• Uphold hospital values ensuringconfidentialityand fostering a cooperative work environment.

Minimum Requirements

Education: BSNrequired; BS in Data Analytics Data Science CIS or equivalent experience preferred.

Certification Licensure:BSN Colorado Licenseor Compact License

Experience Training Knowledge:Minimum 4 years in direct patient care 2 years in clinical applications support. Experience with EHR systems (Cerner preferred) data abstraction analytics and reporting tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements

This position requires lifting carrying pushing and/or pulling up to fifty (50) pounds while administering care to patients. Stooping kneeling and/or crouching daily in delivery of patient care. Standing and walking for more than five (5) hours per day; running occasionally in responding to patient care emergencies.

Environmental hazards such as chemicals solvents needles needle containers sharps blood body fluids various infectious/communicable diseases infectious medical waste radiation and/or radioactive materials and/or radioactive waste proximity to moving mechanical parts. Protective clothing/equipment may be necessary.

ASH IMMUNIZATIONS AND VACCINATIONS REQUIREMENTS Aligns with CDCs Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) for Healthcare Personnel

• Hepatitis B- Lab evidence of immunity (titer) to Hepatitis B or three doses Hep B vaccine at appropriate intervals
• Influenza- documentation of current seasonal flu vaccine (mandatory from November 1st through March 31st each year)
• Measles Mumps and Rubella - Lab evidence of immunity (titer) to Measles Mumps and Rubella or 2 doses of MMR Vaccination
• Varicella (chickenpox) - Lab evidence of immunity (titer) to Varicella or 2 doses of Varicella Vaccine
• Tetanus diphtheria pertussis (Tdap) - documented proof of immunization
• Tuberculosis Screening -Documentation of a two-step TB skin test within the past year OR lab verification of a negative TB Gold or T-Spot tuberculin test within the past 6 months
