Clinical Educator (JS Full- Time)

The Clinical Educator provides continuing education support for nursing and aillied health professionals. Provides initial and ongoing orientation and training to Nursing Services staff. Assists with hospital competency assessment and performance improvement activities.

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

Bachelors degree in Nursing required.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:

Five years clinical experience preferred.

REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

Current licensure in Texas as a Registered Nurse. Bachelors degree in Nursing required. ACLS and PALS Instructor certification preferred. BLS Instructor certification required.

REQUIRED SKILLS KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

Knowledge of adult theory and strategies. Well-developed oral written organizatonal and interpersonal skills. Experienced computer skills.
