Job Summary

The Clinical Education Compliance and Relationship Specialist provides the support and management of clinical contracts clinical placement requirements (including student health information for clinical education background checks CPR cards and other requirements noted by clinical sites) the clinical education database and student clinical site placement requests for the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program. This position will serve as the primary program contact for internal and external administrative coordination of the DPT Program clinical placements. The clinical education component of the DPT Program is integrated throughout the year-round curriculum. The process of arranging clinical placements is time sensitive and requires management of a large number of documents and timely effective communication between the program and students clinical affiliates insurance carriers and legal counsel as well as ongoing communication with the Director of Clinical Education (DCE).

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • College degree (Bachelorsdegreeor higher preferred)

Experience and Training:

  • Two yearsofrelated administrative experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience in administrative sales or health related disciplines.

  • Experience in higher education and/or healthcare field(preferred)

  • Experience in networking in a healthcare environment(preferred)

Knowledge Skills Ability:

  • Strongcommunicationand interpersonal skills

  • Attention to detailandmaintenance of confidentiality

  • Ability to multitask effectively and efficiently is.

  • Proficientwith Microsoft Excel Microsoft Word emailcommunicationand internet browsing

  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook Microsoft TeamsQualtrics and Adobe (preferred)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Supports the execution of both the curriculum and clinical education program for approximately 180 students through flexibilitygood communicationskillsand teamwork.

  • With trainingwillneed to gainproficiencyofProgramselected clinical management databases making prior experience with databases preferred.

  • Serves as database administrator for program selected clinical management platformdatabase to upload and manage all content. This includes student onboarding entering new sites ensuring site requirements and onboarding information is up to date setting up clinical experiences managing student placements sending evaluations and emails through program selected clinical managementplatform databasechecking student assignments and reporting discrepancies to DCE/ADCEetc.

  • Responsible for obtaining coordinating andscheduling ofclinical experiences in conjunction with the DCE.

  • Responsible for site specific paperwork ensuring that students complete the necessary paperwork and that paperwork is sent promptly to theappropriate clinicalsite.

  • Maintains communication with current clinical partners.

  • Communicates with potential clinical partners toestablishadditionalcontracts to broadenscopeof clinical placement sites.

  • Assists the DCE ADCEand DPT Program Chair in the preparation of administrative and annual reports.

  • Assistsin other duties as assigned by the DCEADCEand DPT Program Chair.

It is imperative that this person is reliable and available to the Director(s) of Clinical EducationAssistant Director of Clinical Educationstudentsand clinical affiliates.
